Here we are for Week #2 of my Friday Faves! Each Friday I’ll post five things I’m loving right now and links to where you can get them. (Check out Week #1: Winter Edition here!)
I’m weird about jeans. They need to be a little stretchy, but hold their shape. And since I have a *healthy* butt, they need to be snug in the tush and in the waist. Sometimes I think I’m asking for miracles with these demands, but GAP fit the bill with their Girlfriend jeans. These are crazy comfy and hold their shape (and can handle a wash and not suffocate my stomach the next time I wear them).
FYI: I’m 5’6″ and purchased these in LONG. That way, when I cuff them, they’re not Capri length (they actually hit my ankles).
Don’t lose your mind when you find out how much I paid for a planner. I need a paper planner to feel sane, and although I looooove Emily Ley’s Simplified Planner, I didn’t love the updates to this year’s edition. They’re smaller, and if I’m committing to a daily planner, I need it to be substantial. Plus, my middle name is neutral, so when Emily released their men’s line of paper goods, I bit the bullet and bought the DapperDesk planner. I’m so glad I did. It is genuine leather (and smells like it) and it makes a statement when I show up to meetings with it.
Things I love the most about it? How thick the paper is, the gold foil embossing, the navy page marker, the ample space for notes on each day, the notes pages in the back. The clean lines.
And?! IT’S ON SALE RIGHT NOW. Go get it.
I wear boots like they are going out of style (they aren’t). These are my newest boots, since I 100% wore through my last pair (they had so little soles on them, that I slipped and fell outside Starbucks when it was raining which was SUPER FUN). They’re so comfortable. They’re probably a little darker than I would normally like, but they work well. I also tried these on and liked them as well, but ultimately chose the Marlos.
I think that, in my lifetime, I’ve tried literally hundreds of mascaras. And this beats THEM ALL. It’s the one I keep going back to. And it’s cheap. You can find it at any drugstore, which I love, and it doesn’t make my lashes crunchy or flaky. I also love that I can wash it off super easily (doesn’t need heavy duty eye makeup remover). It’s wild to me that a drugstore find can beat out Benefit, NARS, Smashbox, Urban Decay…you name it. This is the winner!
We love this recipe so much that I think we ate leftovers from it for three meals in a row. We left out the ricotta because we’re not big fans, but seriously this is so delicious and easy! And it makes a ton.
